To celebrate its 25 years of service to the community, Bethany Hill Place is hosting a Quilt Raffle in conjunction with its Spring Gala on May 2, 2019 at the Sheraton Framingham. Tickets can be purchased online in advance of the event and will also be on sale at the gala, when the lucky winner will be announced.

The quilt, named “Which Comes First,” was made by the Boston Modern Quilt Guild’s Be Kind Bee in support of the mission of Bethany Hill Place.  The quilt is an original design created, pieced, and quilted by the Guild during and after the group’s 2019 annual retreat. Twenty-five members contributed over 100 hours of effort to creating the quilt.

“We love that this beautiful quilt was made collaboratively and individually by members of the Boston Modern Quilt Guild,” said Trish Appert, executive director of Bethany Hill Place. “That’s a concept that very much resonates with us at Bethany Hill Place. Community is an incredibly important part of our mission, and we create opportunities for our residents to come together to build connections with one another. When I look at this quilt, I’m reminded of the unique, individual talents every one of us has and the truly extraordinary accomplishments that happen when we come together.”

Appert noted that the public can support this important fundraiser in three ways: by buying tickets online, attending the gala on May 2, and helping spread the word to family and friends and sharing raffle details through social media.

Raffle tickets are $20 for 1 ticket, $50 for 3 tickets, and $100 for 8 tickets and can be purchased online at www.bethanyhillplace.org/gala. The winning name will be drawn at the May 2 gala, but you do not need to be present to win.

All money from raffle sales support Bethany Hill Place’s service-enriched programming for residents focused on parenting skill-development, career building, educational advancement, and personal development.
